Sample: Woman, mid sixties, very fit and active with reasonable budget, looking for a travel partner with similar interests, activity level and budget, to explore Italy by rail and road May 2008. Male or female. 4 week trip planned. Experienced traveler. Want to incorporate a lot of hiking, historic sites and possibly a few days at a cooking school. Would like to rent an apartment for one week in Sienna. Do not want to share a room and expect that not all activities will be shared. Specific interest in religious art and Etruscan ruins. Group sample: my husband and I are interested in connecting with 4 more people, age 50 plus, fit and active, to charter a sailboat in the Puget Sound area for two weeks of sailing, Summer 2008. Looking for at least one more experienced yachtsman/woman. We want this to be relaxing, fun. Would be great if someone with an interest in marine life was interested. Plan on several shore trips including Victoria BC and the Gulf Islands. Non smokers only. Interest in good food and wine, whale watching and photography. Interested parties need to be moderately fit with no mobility isues.
